A LETTER FROM R. SALGADO - - IMPORTANT - - IMPORTANT - - YO!
-------------------------------------------------------------
CO-SYSOP - - PERPETUAL MOTION BULLETIN BOARD - - 914-238-7970
-------------------------------------------------------------
To whom it may concern:
First of all, I would like to thank all of my supporters who have
helped continue my effort in the public domain society. Without you people,
I would've just transformed my computer into another Atari-like Game System
and played arcade software until I rot.
Secondly, I would like to point out that "The R. Salgado Crew" is
not an actual company or corporation of any sort. IT'S NOT. We are mainly
a dozen teenagers who are still in high school and just happen to love to
create programs. My friends and I started back in 1982 with a crappy TRS-80
and saw several public-domain programs. We enjoyed it, and attempted to
commit ourselves to help each other make programs. Now, in 1989, all but a
few of us can put enough time, thus, it's just the main Salgado Crew. Crew,
not company, enterprise, corporation. I started with the "JRBS Enterprises"
name, and picked up tons of letters, DONATIONS, suggestions, etc. But, it
began to come in at a rate I would've never suspected. Everyone thought we
WERE an enterprise. No. That's what I'd like to point out.
We (actually I) still encourage the donations, suggestions, and just
letters of "thanks for the software." I hope you enjoy my software, and the
ones to come.
Sincerely yours,
Raphael Salgado, age 15
